Google announced the list of 6 more Indian startups which will join the latest Launchpad Accelerator program of Google. The program will take place at Google Developers Launchpad Space in San Francisco. In total, 26 Indian startups companies have joined this program till date. On what basis does Google select the startups?
According to the tech giant, hundreds of startups apply for the Launchpad Accelerator program. Out of them, the Indian startups with a unique proposition, use of advanced technology like AI and machine learning to solve problems for Indian context and also startups focused on internet users are selected.
The Launchpad Accelerator program starts on 17th July 2017. It is a six months program which comprises of all expense paid boot camp. In this program, the startups will get mentoring and assistance from more than 20 teams across Google and other top tech companies in Silicon Valley. The Indian startups will also recProductseive equity free support and credits for the Google . Google will continue to work with all the selected Indian startups after they return from San Francisco.
